For Faculty and Instructors

In addition to requesting a library instruction session, faculty and instructors can take advantage of several additional services which support teaching and learning.

Teaching with Media

The Library’s Student Multimedia Design Center is home to the Multimedia Literacy program, which will work with you to design assignments with a multimedia component, or help train students in the concepts and equipment necessary to craft multimedia content.

The Film and Video Collection  is made up of over 25,000 audiovisual programs in DVD, BluRay, VHS, and other legacy formats.  The collection is for use primarily in support of classroom teaching, curriculum and research.  Staff of the Film and Video Collection will work with you to schedule media for class use or to arrange for classes to view media in Film and Video’s 49-seat Viewing Room.

Teaching with Texts

Library materials can be set aside for the use of a specific class through the Course Reserves service.
