Contactless self-checkout options in Morris Library, the Physics Library in Sharp Lab, and the Chemistry Library in Brown Lab<\/h2>\n

In Morris Library<\/strong>, you can check out books using the UD Library Self-Checkout mobile app (available on iOS and Android devices) or the UD Library Self-Checkout kiosk, located across from the Help Center on the first floor. In both cases, the books need to be placed on the RFID station at the UD Library Self-Checkout kiosk to deactivate their security tags before they can be removed from the building.<\/p>\n

In the Physics Library<\/a>\u00a0and the Chemistry Library<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0you can use the UD Library Self-Checkout mobile app to quickly and easily check out books from these locations.<\/p>\n

Books checked out from these branch libraries must be returned to Morris Library.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Check your “My Library Account”<\/a> to learn when your items are due.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Using the App<\/h3>\n

In Morris Library, the Physics Library and the Chemistry Library<\/h4>\n

  1. Download the UD Library Self-Checkout app from the Apple App Store<\/a> or the Google Play Store<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Log in to the app using your UDelNet ID. Allow the app to access your camera and your location so that your phone can scan barcodes and recognize that you are in the library.<\/li>\n
  3. Select \u201cStart\u201d and follow the on-screen instructions to check out your books. If you are in Morris Library<\/strong>, stop by the UD Library Self-Checkout kiosk to deactivate each item.<\/li>\n
  4. Tap \u201cFinish\u201d when done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>

    Using the Kiosk<\/h3>\n

    In Morris Library<\/h4>\n

    1. Touch “Start” at the welcome screen.<\/li>\n
    2. Tap your UD ONEcard on the card reader.<\/li>\n
    3. Place each item on the pad. This action will scan your books and deactivate the security features.<\/li>\n
