We can put your name on the list but there is no guarantee that you will receive one this semester.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The University of Delaware offers dedicated library research space for a limited time in the Morris Library to University of Delaware matriculated graduate students who have a valid University of Delaware I.D. There are 26 graduate carrels located on the second and third floors of the Morris Library. The carrels are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assigned for one academic year, with the possibility of renewal. <!--by students who comply with the policies and procedures for use of the carrel.--><\/li>\n<li>Assigned on a &#8220;first come, first served&#8221; basis.<\/li>\n<li>Assigned to two UD graduate students simultaneously, with each graduate student occupant assigned to his\/her own unique locking shelf to store personal materials.<\/li>\n<li>Equipped with task lighting and data connectivity ready for use with the individual&#8217;s laptop using a roaming IP address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>University of Delaware graduate students interested in obtaining a carrel may the Application for Graduate Student Carrels here:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1JFIJUgHmdqKQsIJENmP8-cSSXedZDOsK7M447asL8Ik\/viewform?edit_requested=true\">Application for Graduate Carrel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--A copy of <i>Library Graduate Student Carrels Policies and Procedures<\/i>\u00a0is included with each <a href=\"https:\/\/library.udel.edu\/circulation\/graduate-carrel-application\/\">application<\/a>.--><\/p>\n<p>For additional information, please contact the Help Center Desk through the <a href=\"https:\/\/library.udel.edu\/circulation\/askcirc\/\">AskCirc<\/a> service and receive answers via email. <!--[updated during Summer 2020 for remote work period] Please call (302) 831-2455 the Circulation and Reserve Unit for additional information.--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Notice: As of Spring of 2025, there is a waiting list to receive a Graduate Carrel.
