BBC Shakespeare Plays

This streaming video collection consists of television adaptations of all 37 plays by William Shakespeare, produced by British Broadcasting between 1978 and 1985. The six-year BBC project was produced by Cedric Messina and Jonathan Miller. Leading performers include Britain’s most distinguished actors, Sir John Gielgud, Ben Kingsley, Claire Bloom, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Michael York, Alen Richman, John Cleese and Derek Jacobi.
