FDsys provides free fulltext collections of some of the most frequently used government information sources. The collections include the major publications from all three branches of government: exectuve, legislative, and judicial. FDsys includes collections of “Additional Government Publications” on a variety of topics which may be browsed or searched.

There are several options for finding information:

  • Simple Search — retrieves results from all collections; results may then be narrowed by using the limiters, such as collection or date
  • Advanced Search — select collections for a search and fields in which to search
  • Browse — by year (volume) or Congressional session, then by date
  • Retrieve by citation
