About this Event
Faculty and researchers know that acquiring funding is hard work. Join Librarian Tom Melvin to get strategies for how to identify and approach the appropriate funders to maximize your efforts.
During the workshop, you will cover strategies for searching databases and locating additional grant information on the internet.
The workshop will focus on three databases—the Foundation Center Directory Online, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online and COS Pivot—that provide information on identifying potential funding resources. Features of these databases include alerting services as well as the ability to save searches.
The workshop is co-sponsored by the UD Research Office and Development Office.
This workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. Those conducting research in need of funding are particularly encouraged to attend. Registration is required as seating is limited.
