About this Event
With so many variables to consider, the prospect of publishing your work can be overwhelming
During this workshop, receive guidance on common issues you may encounter in the process. You will learn how to identify predatory journals, how to choose appropriate data repositories for your work, and how to find resources for calculating journal impact factors. You will also discover how open access can positively impact your research and publishing and how to review resources for open access publishers.
Librarian Paige Morgan, head of digital scholarship and publishing, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to the public. Registration is required as seating is limited.
To learn more about publishing, stick around for the “What You Need to Know to Get Published” workshop from 3-4 p.m.
