About this Event
Whether its text, audiovisual materials or internet memes, if you want to incorporate materials created by other people into your research or dissertation, you should always ask yourself, “Can I use that?”
During this virtual workshop, explore how to complete a fair use analysis for your research or dissertation. You’ll also learn about the lifecycle of copyrightable content as well as how material passes into public domain.
This workshop is open to the public, and is co-sponsored by the Graduate College. It will be led by Paige Morgan, digital publishing and copyright librarian, and head of Digital Scholarship and Publishing.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom.
