About this Event
As a faculty member, you know it’s often necessary to incorporate video, images and textual material created by others into your courses. But, how can you use these materials and comply with copyright?
During this workshop, explore fair use and various alternatives to it. The group will discuss the decision process involved in determining if fair use can be justified as well as alternatives that could be considered.
This workshop is co-sponsored by Faculty Commons. Monica McCormick, associate university librarian for publishing, preservation, research and digital access, will lead the workshop.
Faculty, especially those new to the University or early in their careers, are encouraged to attend. Registration is required as seating is limited.
