About this Event
Visualizing data can help shed new insight on your research. Discover how a geographic information system (GIS) can highlight spatial patterns and relationships within your data by managing and presenting it in map form.
During this workshop, learn how to easily upload data points, geocode addresses and place data on a map using PolicyMap, a data-rich GIS tool. By the end, you’ll be able to identify areas that meet up to three data criteria and download data from PolicyMap for use in your own research, mapping and presentations.
John Stevenson, head of the Multimedia Collections and Services Department, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff, and will be of particular interest to those whose data includes a spatial component. Registration is required as seating is limited.
