About this Event
How do I get my work published? What should I publish? Who should I choose to publish with? As you look to use publishing to advance your career, join us to explore the rights and responsibilities associated with being an author.
During this workshop, learn how to avoid pitfalls in getting your work published, how to craft your work so it is more appealing to publishers, and how to find the best publication opportunities in your discipline. You will also explore whether open access publishing opportunities would be a good fit for you and your work.
Julia Oestreich, director of the University of Delaware Press, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to the public. Registration is required as seating is limited.
To learn more about publishing, join us earlier in the day for the “Open Access, Impact Factor, Predatory Publishers: What Does It All Mean?” workshop from 2-3 p.m.
