About this Event
Do you work or volunteer at a nonprofit agency? If so, you know how important—and challenging—it is to identify new funding sources for your organization.
This virtual workshop brings together a panel of experts to discuss the various aspects of funding nonprofit organizations, including finding, applying for, writing and giving grants. It will also include a short demo of Foundation Directory Online, the Library’s database for finding funding opportunities.
Moderated by librarian Alison Wessel, the panel includes: Susan Shiroma, engagement manager of Candid Northeast Network; Kate Flewelling, executive director of the Middle Atlantic region of the Network of the National Library of Medicine; Kenneth S. Bock, chief executive officer of CHEER; and Debbie DiVirgilio, president of Faith Based Nonprofit Resource Center.
This workshop is open to the public.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom. Those registered for the workshop will also be able to submit questions for the panelists ahead of time.
