About this Event
Well designed graphics can enhance your project, strengthen your message and ensure your work makes an impact.
During this hands-on workshop, learn how to create your own graphics with Canva, a free web-based design tool. You’ll spend time playing around in and getting comfortable with the Canva platform with Amanda McCollom, multimedia literacy librarian, as your guide. You’ll also discover other free tools for choosing colors, fonts and images that you can use to enhance your Canva creations.
This in-person workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College.
Registration is required as seating is limited. Those planning to attend should create a free Canva account in advance of the workshop.
This is the second installment in a two-part series focused on graphic design. Graphic Design I: Principles of Effective Design on October 12 will introduce you to basic principles of design and free tools to create your designs. Attending both workshops is encouraged, but not required.
