About this Event
Between smartphones and point-and-shoot cameras, it is easy to take a photograph these days. But if you want to take your photography to the next level, explore how to use a DSLR camera for higher quality photographs.
During this workshop, discover the various features that enable DSLR cameras to take better photographs. Learn how to use aperture, shutter speed and ISO to achieve the correct exposure—how light and dark the image is—and how to change the camera settings to improve a photo.
If you are inspired by the end of the workshop, remember: We have DSLR cameras you can borrow for a three-day loan.
Nico Carver, senior assistant librarian and coordinator of Student Multimedia Design Services, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. Registration is required as seating is limited.
After mastering the basics of a DSLR camera, learn how to edit your photos during the Creative Photo Editing with Adobe Lightroom workshop.
