The Instructional Media Collection Department of the University of Delaware Library has a collection of more than 18,000 videos and films. New materials are added throughout the year in support of the curriculum. The Instructional Media Collection Department and the Collection itself are located on the Lower Level of the Morris Library. Also in that area are thirty individual video/film viewing carrels.
Media Scheduling and Media Viewing Room
Faculty, graduate teaching assistants, and professional staff of the University of Delaware may schedule films and videos for classroom use, research, and approved programmatic functions.
A forty-nine seat viewing room located in the Instructional Media Collection Department may be scheduled for use by University of Delaware faculty, instructors, and authorized teaching assistants for audiovisual presentations to classes.
The Instructional Media Collection Department has a Media Research Room available for use by University of Delaware faculty and instructors in researching and previewing films and videos for academic research and curriculum support.

Films, videos, CDs, and audiocassettes in the Instructional Media Collection are available for checkout to faculty, staff, and students of the University of Delaware. All borrowers must present a valid University of Delaware ID card to check out materials.
Some films and videos are restricted due to heavy instructional use and may only be checked out by faculty, graduate students, and professional staff of the University of Delaware. Undergraduate students and other users may view these restricted items in the viewing carrels at the Instructional Media Collection Department.
