Art & Design Maker Space | Studio Arts Building

3D printers available:

      • Three Lulzbot Taz 5 printers with 0.5 mm nozzles.
        Build volume: 11.4in x 10.8in x 9.8in
        Uses different kinds of plastic like ABS and PLA
      • One Makerbot Replicator
        Build Volume: 11.2 L x 6.0 W x 6.1 H in
        Uses PLA (polylactic acid) plastic only
      • Two Wasp Delta Turbo 4070
        Build volume: “84 liters”

Note: A 5 axis CNC machine and a 3 axis CNC will be purchased this winter session

Blue Print 3D Studio | 004 Smith Hall

5 Cubify 3D printers are available. The Blue Print 3D Studio is open to all students, faculty and staff.


Do2Learn | 012 Willard Hall

One Lulzbot Mini 3D printer is available for use free of charge. Pricing is subject to change depending on usage needs.


TechDeck | 026 Purnell Hall

This lab features one Makerbot Replicator version 2 3D printer, with a charge of $.50 per half hour.  This 3D printer is for educational use only, personal projects can not be printed. The TechDeck  services are limited to faculty, staff, and students enrolled in the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics.


The Design Studio **RESTRICTED** | Spencer Lab

Located on the first floor of Spencer Lab, The Design Studio provides students with a large space to collaborate and make. Featured are: 2 3D printers, laser cutter, sewing machine, and hand tools. There is no lab fee associated with The Design Studio, but online safety training is required prior to using shop tools.
