If you’re like me and don’t have access to a printer anywhere near your dorm/home/apartment, you’d know how stressful it is to have to scan something last minute. During the snowy winter months that will shortly dawn upon us, that 10-15-20 minute walk to the library can be grueling, especially if you’re going just to scan something.
Now enter CamScanner. This revolutionary app allows you to capture photos of the document you want to “scan”, and then crop areas of the picture off that you wouldn’t want in the final file. It then runs the photos through a filter that makes the final product like strikingly similar, if not identical, to a scanned document.
The app allows you to take various documents and join them together to create one document, and offers various exporting tools, and can even link with the Canvas Student app in order to upload files efficiently.
Overall, the CamScanner app can definitely be a lifesaver, and a hero in times of distress. I strongly recommend this app, especially if you do not have immediate access to a scanner in close proximity.
