There are three main types of video transitions \u2013 the hard cut, dissolve and wipe \u2013 each with their own benefits and effects.<\/p>\n<p>In the video below, learn more about the dissolve transition, which is when one piece of video fades into a solid color or a separate piece of media, and when is an appropriate time to use it.
