There are three main types of video transitions \u2013 the hard cut, dissolve and wipe \u2013 each with their own benefits and effects.<\/p>\n<p>In the video below, learn more about the wipe transition, which is where a video clip is gradually revealed through shapes and patterns, and when is an appropriate time to use it.
