University of Delaware students will have access to extended hours during reading day and finals, December 10 – 15, 2025.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Extended Hours at Morris Library<\/h3>\n

Morris Library\u2019s extended hours:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Wednesday, Dec. 10 | 8 a.m. – 1 a.m. (Reading Day)<\/li>\n
  • Thursday, Dec. 11 | 8 a.m. – 1 a.m.<\/li>\n
  • Friday, Dec. 12 | 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.<\/li>\n
  • Saturday, Dec. 13 | 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.<\/li>\n
  • Sunday, Dec. 14 | 10 a.m. – 1 a.m.<\/li>\n
  • Monday, Dec. 15 | 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Even when the library is closed, students have options to study in the building.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Along with the Morris Library Commons, which houses The Nest eatery and is open 24\/7 year-round, the Class of 1941 Lecture Room<\/strong> in Morris Library will be open to students when the library is closed. The Class of 1941 Lecture Room is located off the entrance vestibule to the library, across from the Morris Library Commons.<\/span>
    \n<\/br><\/p>\n

    Rooms 114 and 116A will also be open for finals exam studying.<\/strong><\/div>\n

    • Thursday, Dec. 11, 1 – 8 a.m.<\/li>\n
    • Friday, Dec. 12, 1 – 8 a.m.<\/li>\n
    • Friday, Dec. 12, 10 p.m. – Saturday, Dec. 13, 9 a.m.<\/li>\n
    • Saturday, Dec. 13, 7 p.m. – Sunday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.<\/li>\n
    • Monday, Dec. 15, 1 – 8 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


      \n<\/span>During the hours when Morris Library is closed, students can access both the Morris Library Commons and the Class of 1941 Lecture Room with their UDID card through the door along the patio. The front doors to the library, which open to the main steps, will remain locked during these times. When the library is closed, students will only have access to the Morris Library Commons, the Class of 1941 Lecture Room and the adjoining vestibule.<\/span>

      Writing Center @ Morris (017) is also open for study from 8 pm Wed. through rest of the semester.<\/strong><\/div>\n
