The University of\u00a0Delaware\u00a0Library, Museums and Press,\u00a0in collaboration with the\u00a0Data Science Institute\u00a0and\u00a0Delaware\u00a0Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR),\u00a0is\u00a0excited to announce the second annual Open Data Impact Awards\u00a0for 2026.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Building on the success of its inaugural year, the\u00a0program recognizes\u00a0undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty,\u00a0staff\u00a0and collaborative research teams whose open datasets make a meaningful impact on research,\u00a0teaching\u00a0or public engagement.\u00a0Those who\u00a0recognize\u00a0the power of open data to drive discovery, deepen\u00a0learning\u00a0and spark innovation are strongly encouraged to apply by\u00a0<\/span>Friday, Sept. 24, 2026<\/span><\/strong>. All disciplines are welcome.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Three $1,000 awards will be\u00a0presented\u00a0to individuals or teams whose datasets exemplify excellence of openness, documentation,\u00a0reusability\u00a0and potential for scholarly or public impact.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible datasets must be:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
