We are excited to announce the official launch of\u00a0UD Dataverse, a new institutional research data repository designed to support the preservation, sharing, and discovery of data produced by\u00a0University\u00a0of\u00a0Delaware\u00a0Researchers. This\u00a0platform provides a secure, sustainable home for research datasets and enables researchers to make their data more accessible, reusable, and compliant with funder and publisher requirements.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

UD Dataverse was developed\u00a0through\u00a0collaboration\u00a0between the\u00a0Library, Museums and Press\u00a0and\u00a0UD IT Research Cyberinfrastructure,\u00a0and was funded in part by the National Science Foundation Campus Cyberinfrastructure program. The\u00a0launch of UD Dataverse\u00a0represents\u00a0an important milestone in the University’s commitment to research excellence and responsible data management. As research becomes increasingly data-intensive, institutions are investing in infrastructure that supports\u00a0broad dissemination of knowledge. UD Dataverse provides researchers with a trusted platform for sharing data alongside publications, fostering transparency, reproducibility, and\u00a0creating\u00a0new opportunities for collaboration across disciplines.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Visit\u00a0the new repository at\u00a0<\/span>dataverse.udel.edu<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0Morris Library’s\u00a0<\/span>Research Data and Design Commons<\/span><\/a>\u00a0supports UD Dataverse and\u00a0provides training\u00a0and\u00a0consultations\u00a0for both deposit and discovery.
