The<\/span> holdings in Special Collections include a wide range of print materials, personal papers, archival collections, photographs and electronic resources in support of teaching, study, and individuals\u2019 curiosity.<\/span> Special Collections material is available for use by students, instructors and researchers in the Special Collections Reading Room, which is located on the second floor of Morris Library. Please note that Special Collections material does not circulate and must be used in the Reading Room.<\/span><\/p>\n Special Collections provides access to several tools and resources to support research and discovery of our unique collection holdings:<\/span><\/p>\n DELCAT<\/span><\/a> is the main gateway to the University of Delaware Library\u2019s print and electronic collections. To find Special Collections materials cataloged in DELCAT, you can limit your search to \u201cSpecial Collections\u201d only.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A finding aid tells you about an archival collection \u2013 who created it and what is in it \u2014 so you can decide if the collection is useful to you. <\/span>Information on individual archival collections may be found in the <\/span>finding aids database<\/span><\/a>.<\/span> In an effort to increase access to Special Collections material, selected items and collections have been digitized and are available on our <\/span>digital collections site<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>UDSpace<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>JSTOR<\/span><\/a>. New content is added regularly, but the majority of material in Special Collections is undigitized and not available online.
