Charles Allmond transcribed a portion of this volume for the journal Agricultural History at the request of University of Delaware faculty member Dr. John Munroe. The article was reproduced as: Black, Samuel H., and C. M. Allmond. The Agricultural Memorandums of Samuel H. Black: 1815-1820. 1958. It is shelved in Special Collections (OCLC # 1030918607). Charles Allmond's papers are also held by Special Collections (MSS 0673). Allmond is best known as a sculptor, but holds degrees in agriculture and agronomy from the University of Delaware.
