Abstract: | An autograph letter written and signed by Henry Charles Carey to "Mr. Blanchard," of the publishing firm of Lea and Blanchard, requesting that "a copy of my second & third volumes be forwarded to New York to Jones, and he will take the trouble of delivering it, which I suppose any of the book-sellers to whom you are sending books would do," dated March 18, 1847. Carey's Principles of Political Economy first appeared in three volumes (1837, 1838, 1840). |
