Scope and Content Note

The papers comprise Bernard F. Dukore's collection of Barrie Stavis manuscripts. The materials consist of a handwritten letter from Stavis to Dukore regarding his play, Lamp at Midnight, a typescript of the same play, as well as an audio cassette tape recording of the 1994 Princeton Pro Musica production of Lee Hoiby's oratorio, Galileo Galilei, for which Barrie Stavis wrote the libretto. These items were originally included with a gift of Dukore's collection of Barrie Stavis books, which were cataloged for Special Collections.
