British-born poet and collagist John Digby (born 1938) immigrated to the United States in 1978 and lives on Long Island with
his wife Joan Digby, whose creative work is also represented in this collection. The John Digby papers supplement reflects
Digby's prolific artistic and literary career, Joan Digby's creative and professional work, and their collaboration as editors
and contributors to their imprint, The Feral Press, between 2002-2016. The Digbys published nearly 100 authors and artists
during this time, featuring poetry (including translations into English), fiction, and essays from both emerging and established
writers.
