Abstract: The Luella Delamartre Dawson Photographs of China consists of 132 black and white snapshots taken during Mrs. Dawson's travels in China between 1923 and 1925. Mrs. Dawson was the wife of an American businessman, who represented the Bank of America in China during this period. The photographs depict public scenes in Peking, Shanghai, Szechuan, Shantung, Hsiling, and Soochow.
