Identifying new funding opportunities can be one of the most challenging aspects of the research process. This workshop will introduce two powerful resources—Pivot and Candid—that can help streamline your search for grants and other funding opportunities.
You'll learn how to use Pivot's advanced search features to identify funding opportunities by applicant type, funding type and keyword, as well as how to create personalized funding alerts. The workshop will also explore how Candid can help you identify potential funders by examining foundations' giving histories and funding priorities. Faculty, staff and graduate students seeking external funding support will benefit from this session.
