Scoping reviews are a valuable research method for identifying, mapping and synthesizing existing literature on a topic. This workshop provides a step-by-step introduction to the scoping review process and the foundational skills needed to conduct one successfully.
Participants will learn how to develop a research question using the PCC framework, create a review protocol, understand reporting guidelines such as PRISMA and organize the review process from planning through synthesis. While designed specifically for graduate students preparing for dissertations, qualifying exams or research projects, the skills covered are valuable for anyone interested in evidence synthesis methods. No prior experience with scoping reviews is required.
This workshop is limited to graduate students from the University of Delaware.
