One of the prominent American[...] expatriates during the 1920s and 1930s, much of Kay Boyle's work reflects the influences of that literary circle. The Kay Boyle papers relating to the Citizens' Mission to Cambodia, spanning from 1960-1979, consists of diaries, correspondence, books, periodicals, news clippings, reports, speeches, audio recording tapes, a photograph, and poems, documenting controversial aspects of the ground war in Vietnam and its possible expansion into Cambodia through the recorded thoughts and actions of Kay Boyle and the Citizens' Mission to Cambodia. Additional items capture the evolution of political Cambodia well into the 1970s through various publications and articles.

Abstract:The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), an organization formed in Great Britain in January 1958, intended to persuade the government to "renounce unconditionally the use or production of nuclear weapons[...] and refuse to allow their use by others in its defense." The records of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) contains three linear feet of material including articles, clippings, minutes and agendas from conferences, files, microfilm, and publications. The material surveys the issues of the nuclear disarmament movement in England beginning with the formation of the CND in 1958. Several contentious issues are documented throughout the collection.

Abstract:The Edgar Rice Burroughs comic book collection is an artificial collection of comic books inspired by the writings of Edgar Rice Burroughs, as published by Dell Publishing Co., Marvel Comics[...] Group, DC Comics, Western Publishing Company (Gold Key Comics), and others from 1953 to 1977. The character Tarzan is the primary focus of these comic books; a minority of the comics expand upon Burroughs's series of Mars novels. In 1955, Halio began teaching at the University of California at Davis as a professor of English. While at Davis, he researched the book Angus Wilson which was published in 1964. The collection includes correspondence, publications and manuscripts by Halio and Wilson, journal articles about Wilson, and taped and transcribed interviews.
