Manuscript recipes
Scope and Content Note
Held together by a pin, this very small, unbound manuscript consists of eight pages of American food recipes, mostly desserts, with the exception of one recipe for sausage. The dessert recipes include hard gingerbread, New York cup cake, tea cake, cream pies, and bride's cake.
The recipes are written in ink, with one in pencil, and appear to be in the same hand. The paper is worn, with spots from water damage.
