This collection consists one handwritten manuscript by John H. Stevens in which he gives an eyewitness account of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln published in the book, We Saw Lincoln Shot. It was written some time after the event by Stevens who was present at the Ford Theatre on April 15, 1865.
