Viewing Room
A 40-seat Viewing Room is located on the Lower Level of Morris Library for use by faculty and teaching assistants giving media-related presentations to University of Delaware classes. (It is not available for scheduling as a substitute for a regularly-scheduled classroom or as a meeting room for clubs or other campus groups.) It is equipped to show videos in VHS (NTSC and PAL) and DVD (multi-region, standard definition, and Blu-ray) formats. Projection equipment includes a rear-screen high-definition multimedia projector with Dolby surround sound.
Please Note:
- A faculty member or a designated teaching assistant must be present to conduct or monitor classes during screenings in the Viewing Room.

Only physical video material from the library’s Film & Video collection may be screened in the viewing room. Screening of any streaming media in the viewing room is no longer possible. Screening of any personal or other video material not part of the library’s collection, is not permitted.
- The Viewing Room must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance. Last minute or late viewing room booking requests will not be accommodated.
- The Viewing Room screenings are scheduled Monday to Friday only, starting at 9am, with the last screening of the day ending at 5pm.
- The Viewing Room must be vacated promptly at the conclusion of the screening.
- There is no food or drinks allowed in the Viewing Room.
