What We Teach

Success Stories

Ashley Rye-Kopec curated a class session about sexuality and art for the students in my Fall 2018 class, HIST/WOMS387: The Queer Twentieth Century. (Students) were fascinated by what they saw and eager to learn more. Several students commented on how knowledgeable and engaged Ms. Rye-Kopec was with them, and how comfortable they felt asking her question about the art they were seeing. When I teach this class again, I absolutely plan to schedule another series of class sessions at the art gallery. – Rebecca Davis, Associate Professor - History
