Lactation Room
The University has designated private spaces as “lactation rooms” throughout campus. In addition to providing a dedicated pumping space, some of the rooms have bulletin boards for sharing news, ideas and baby pictures, connecting lactating parents across campus. The campus locations include:
- 207E Morris Library
- 128 Perkins Student Center, Room 128
- 214A McDowell Hall, before the entrance to the women’s restroom.
- 346 Hullihen Hall, across from the Office of Equity and Inclusion
- Tower at STAR, Room 354 (100 Discovery Blvd)
Reflection Room
Morris Library has a dedicated Reflection Room where you can relax, clear your mind and take a brief retreat from studying. This multi-purpose room is located on the second floor (Room 233). The space can be used by multiple people at once in a variety of ways.
We ask that you be considerate of others and refrain from using electronic devices.
Assistive Technology Center
The Assistive Technology Center (Room 119), with specially equipped computers and other equipment, is located on the main floor of the Morris Library. It features a mix of computer stations and tables with soft seating. This room can be accessed by UD students swiping their UD ONEcard on the card reader located next to the door. To use the card reader, UD students must first register with the Office of Disability Support Services and request to have their UD ONEcard activated by Allison Crook, a staff member at the Office of Disability Support Services in Alison Hall.
For more information on the disability services the Library offers, or to make an appointment, please see the Disabilities Information for Library Assistance page.
All-Gender Restrooms
All Gender Restrooms are located in numerous locations across campus, including in Morris Library: Lower Level 046 and 047 and in The Nest 131D, 131E. See our floor plan maps for locations.
