WCAG Accessibility Compliance
The Library, Museums and Press website complies with WC3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and is regularly reviewed to ensure accessibility via screen readers, by those with visual impairments, and by those with physical conditions which require keyboard usage.

The Library, Museums and Press website includes a feature where patrons can view available seats within Morris Library to choose a place to gather or study which provides support for those who require a quiet space, a space with natural light, or a space with fewer other patrons.
Readability Widget
The Readability Widget installed on the University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press website helps balance competing accessibility needs by offering an extra set of optional accommodations. It’s a way to provide readability improvements that some users, but not every user, will find useful. For instance, some users find black text on a white background (a common combination) to be the most readable, whereas others would prefer text against a warm-colored background (a feature in the widget). This widget may particularly benefit those with reading disabilities, but it may also be useful to a wide range of users.
