In 2023, librarians were the first on campus to offer workshops aimed at helping students use generative AI tools effectively, to evaluate AI outputs and to consider the ethical implications of this technology. We offer regular workshops on AI topics for students and faculty. The Library, Museums and Press has also created a tutorial which serves as a toolkit for all those who use generative AI.
In partnership with the AI for Teaching and Learning Working Group, the Library, Museums and Press hosts a popular online AI seminar series which offers the University of Delaware Community a key opportunity to engage with the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education.
