The Film & Video Collection includes standard DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, videotapes, console-based video games, and 16mm films which span a wide range of disciplines. It is a closed-stacks collection, which means media materials are not in a publicly accessible area and must be browsed using DELCAT. Once you have identified titles of interest, staff will retrieve the items for you. Some items (many VHS and all 16mm film) are housed in the Library Annex, an on-campus off-site storage facility. These items may be requested via the Library Annex Request form, and will be delivered to Morris Library within one business day. The requester will be contacted upon its arrival.
The University of Delaware Library also subscribes to streaming media databases, which provide access to over 70,000 eVideos.
When searching DELCAT for Film & Video Collection items, you may start at the Film & Video Collection home page, which automatically limits results to videos and games. Below are several additional links that will help you browse the collection online.
