Have you ever wanted to use a video editing software not from the likes of Adobe? Are you interested in trying a non-linear editor that doesn’t come with a monthly price tag? Well, you’re in luck, because the folks over at Blackmagic have a piece of software called DaVinci Resolve, which is a complete video editor and digital audio workstation solution!
In this video, viewers will learn how to get started in DaVinci Resolve, including the layout of the user interface, a brief overview of each editing tab, how to import media and export your projects, as well as the basic functions of the timeline.
If you’re interested in using DaVinci Resolve to edit your multimedia projects, stop by the Student Multimedia Design Center in Morris Library where you can book time in our studio spaces to record and edit your projects.
