Timeline

Construction begins with installation of construction barriers/walls. Bookshelves removed from area of construction.

Glass partition work will begin mid-September and will be complete by the end of October.

There will be intermittent PA system and fire alarm testing in Morris Library during the week of Thanksgiving.

The renovation work will be substantially complete by the end of December 2025.

The current Special Collections Reading Room will be closed over winter session, closing at the end of the day on December 23 and reopening on February 2, for preparations of the move into the newly renovated space.

The newly renovated Special Collections area will open in Spring Semester 2026.
