University of Delaware Launches UD Dataverse, a New Institutional Research Data Repository

We are excited to announce the official launch of UD Dataverse, a new institutional research data repository designed to support the preservation, sharing, and discovery of data produced by University of Delaware Researchers. This platform provides a secure, sustainable home for research datasets and enables researchers to make their data more accessible, reusable, and compliant with funder and publisher requirements. 

UD Dataverse was developed through collaboration between the Library, Museums and Press and UD IT Research Cyberinfrastructure, and was funded in part by the National Science Foundation Campus Cyberinfrastructure program. The launch of UD Dataverse represents an important milestone in the University’s commitment to research excellence and responsible data management. As research becomes increasingly data-intensive, institutions are investing in infrastructure that supports broad dissemination of knowledge. UD Dataverse provides researchers with a trusted platform for sharing data alongside publications, fostering transparency, reproducibility, and creating new opportunities for collaboration across disciplines. 

Visit the new repository at dataverse.udel.edu. Morris Library’s Research Data and Design Commons supports UD Dataverse and provides training and consultations for both deposit and discovery. Our goal is to help the campus community take full advantage of this new service to advance open and impactful research at the University of Delaware.
