In response to University-wide budget reductions, the Library, Museums and Press has needed to strategically reduce spending on books, journals, and databases during the 2020-2021 academic year (FY21) and again during the 2024-2025 (FY25) and 2025-2026 (FY26) academic years.
Wiley Journal Access
Effective January 1, 2026, we cancelled our subscription to the Wiley journal package. This decision follows the same path we took with Elsevier in 2021 and represents a deliberate move toward more sustainable collection management. In lieu of canceling these expensive packages, we continue to provide access in alternative ways while better supporting the full range of disciplines across campus and redirecting funds to areas of greatest need.
