Agreements
Although the Library does not have stand-alone funding to cover article processing charges (APCs), we do have agreements with certain publishers in place that allow UD authors to publish open access without any fees:
Cambridge University Press (CUP): All participating CUP journals, does not cover select article types.
Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC): APCs are covered for all hybrid RSC journals. Authors also receive a 15% discount on APCs for gold OA RSC journals.
Springer Nature: Corresponding authors will have APCs waived when they publish in any of Springer Nature’s hybrid journals.
Discounts
In addition to our full agreements, UD authors may get a discount on publishing open access with the following publishers:
MDPI: 10% discount on APCs for all MDPI journals.
BioMedCentral: 15% discount on APCs for BMC and SpringerOpen journals.
