About this Event
Whether it’s text, audiovisual materials or internet memes, if you want to incorporate materials created by other people into your research or dissertation, you should always ask yourself, “Can I use that?”
During this virtual workshop, explore how to complete a fair use analysis for your research or dissertation. You’ll also learn about the lifecycle of copyrightable content as well as how material passes into public domain; and how recent changes to copyright law may affect your research.
This workshop is open to the public. It will be led by Paige Morgan, digital publishing and copyright librarian.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom.
