About this Event
With text mining, researchers treat text as data to draw new conclusions about a body of text.
During this informal, virtual discussion, explore the basic concepts and methodologies of text mining. Through an interactive question-and-answer session led by Digital Scholarship Librarian Kayla Abner, you will discover where text mining fits into your research area and how to get started on a text-mining project.
This workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff, and is co-sponsored by the Graduate College. Those who study text-based content and are interested in learning a new research method, including new faculty members or graduate students in the humanities and social sciences, are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom. The workshop will not be recorded.
