About this Event
Poster sessions are a key way scholars of all disciplines communicate their research. While eye-catching design is essential to a poster, the writing and presentation are also crucial elements.
Discover practical tips on how best to represent your research data on posters through text and graphics. You’ll also learn how to effectively speak about your research with an audience viewing your poster.
Jen Follett, acting director of the University Writing Centers, and Chris Volker, associate director for oral communication from the University Writing Centers, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. It may be of particular interest for graduate students presenting at a conference. Registration is required as seating is limited.
This is the second of two workshops focused on poster design and co-sponsored by the University Writing Centers. The first workshop, Creating Effective Posters, takes place Tuesday, April 16, at 2 p.m.
