About this Event
Data visualizations help communicate the story of your research to your audience, creating a more engaging way for readers to understand the context, relevance and value of your takeaways.
During this virtual workshop, explore best practices for data visualizations, including when and how they can enhance a story. You’ll also learn how to choose the right visualization for your research needs, and learn basic design principles that will ensure your visualization is clear and legible.
Kayla Abner, digital scholarship librarian, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to the public, and is co-sponsored by the Graduate College. Those who are studying or working in business, social sciences or the physical sciences are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom.
