Delivery Services

Distance Learning DELivery Service. Request University of Delaware Library materials for shipment to your home address.

Article DELivery Service.ads PDFs of articles and book chapters from Library collections can be scanned and delivered to you in 2 days.

Interlibrary Loan. Request materials not available in University of Delaware collections and ILL staff will ship them to your home address.

Electronic Access

Students enrolled in a UD Online Distance Learning program can use their UDelNet ID and password to access the library’s electronic resources from off-campus.

For Faculty & Instructors

Library Instruction

University of Delaware librarians collaborate with faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants teaching online to design and deliver instruction for students on a wide range of concepts and skills. Request an instruction session.

Course Reserves

Faculty and instructors teaching online courses can take advantage of the library’s Electronic Course Reserves service. Electronic Reserves scans copies of instructional materials submitted by faculty into PDF format and delivers them to University of Delaware students via DELCAT Discovery. The University of Delaware Library will provide URLs to articles and book chapters requested for course reserve if these are held in its collection of electronic resources.

Permalinks

A Permalink is a permanent link, a URL or web address that will consistently point to a specific online resource such as an article, book, chapter, e-book, or other online resource. The library maintains a permalink creator to help faculty facilitate access to online content. Streaming Media

Interested in including media in your online class? Visit the Streaming Media page for copyright information and lists of media resources. The Media Research Guide also contains links to media content available via the Web, both freely and via UD subscription.
