About this Event
Whether you are creating a poster, presentation or social media graphic, quality design will elevate your project and your message.
During this workshop, explore the basic principles of design, and evaluate effective and ineffective graphics to understand what works, what doesn’t and why. You will also discover various design tools that are free to use or that are provided by the Library.
Amanda McCollom, multimedia literacy librarian, will lead the workshop.
This in-person workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College.
This is the first installment in a two-part series focused on graphic design. Graphic Design II: Creating with Canva on October 13 will include extensive hands-on practice of graphic design. Attending both workshops is encouraged, but not required.
